The Wonderland Project 2022 No. 9 Cabernet Sauvignon is Matt Ahern's second Napa Cab release, but Winestyr members know the kind of value former-Somm Ahern delivers in his Two Kings Pinot Noir and White Queen Chardonnay, and this Napa Cab delivers more of the same. The No. 9 is a chewy, black fruited, spice-laden, yet balanced wine that is great for fans of Napa Cab everywhere. A tremendous value Napa Cab made with fruit from the famed Atlas Peak AVA.
The Wonderland Project was founded by former-Sommelier Matt Ahern after spending years selling wine to elite restaurants and helping turn Scribe Winery into one of the most sought after estates in the country. Through his experience, he became aware of a common missing component on wine lists: a high quality wine made from high quality fruit, with enough refinement for the most discerning palette at an accessible cost. When he couldn't find the wine described, he decided to make it himself.
