The Sojourn 2021 Rodgers Creek Pinot Noir comes from high on a ridge in the heart of the Petaluma Gap, one of the coolest and foggiest growing regions in Sonoma. The 2021 growing season was a welcome relief after the 2020 fires, welcoming perfectly ripe grape clusters, even if yields were a bit down.. About 20% whole cluster brings brightness to the palate and adds a layer of complexity.
From the beginning, Sojourn Cellars was about ambition. It all started with just a handful of barrels of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and then came the critical reviews. The winery now produces 21 different wines per year, many of which are high-scoring single vineyard wines stockpiled by some of America’s most discerning collectors.
