The Las Jaras 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is fashioned after the kinds of Cabs that made the style a world power in the 1970s–ripe but not overripe, structured but not overly so, and incredibly versatile on the dinner table. Sourced from the organic Vinegrove Vineyard in Dry Creek Valley, this is one of the most unique Cabs we've had.
What do experienced winemakers and avant garde comedians have in common? Well, it turns out, a love for all things delicious. Las Jaras (translation: the arrows) started off with their now famous Sweet Berry Wine as a way to introduce comedy fans to the world of natural wines, creating the perfect harmony. Founded by accomplished winemaker Joel Burt and his friend, and famed actor/director/author/food blogger Eric Wareheim, Las Jaras quickly became one of the hottest brands in the natural wine scene.
