The Keller Estate 2019 Rôtie Syrah takes its name from the great wines of Northern Rhone and just like those wines, this wine is a blend of 93% Syrah co-fermented with 7% Viognier. The resulting wine is as delectable as it is light on its feet. Dark fruit and earth flavors juxtapose against a bright mouthfeel and lifted aromatics. This is a delicious wine that would pair well with a variety of foods, but we'd recommend cassoulet.
Since taking over the reins in 1998, Ana Keller has guided this estate to near cult status amongst the most insightful Pinot Noir and Chardonnay collectors in the country. With Julien Teichmann in control of winemaking, the estate crafts wines truly reflective of terroir, resulting in balanced wines with grace and longevity. In 2013 Ana joined the Petaluma Gap WineGrowers Alliance's board and was instrumental in creating the Petaluma Gap American Viticultural Area (AVA) which was ultimately granted in 2018.
