The 2013 La Sangre de Jonata ("the blood of Jonata") is an absolutely exceptional wine. Balanced, full-bodied, and incredibly youthful considering it has already been in the bottle for over a decade, this 98% Syrah was co-fermented with 2% of Viognier much like the great wines of the Northern Rhone that isnpired it. This is a great wine for any serious wine enthusiast and has the bones to develop for over another decade in the bottle. 96pts Robert Parker.
