The Ashes & Diamonds Rouge No. 6 is a classic Bordeaux-style blend made with grapes sourced from select vineyards across Napa Valley. This wine is remarkably balanced and light on its feet with bright cherry and blackberry notes that give way to complex earthy core. Inspired by the leaner wines of the '60s and '70s, this wine has an almost seductive structure and mouthfeel that will keep you coming back for more.
Ashes & Diamonds, ‘a love letter to the Napa Valley of the 1960s,’ has set out to revive this storied era’s pioneering energy. Kashy Khaledi, whose father Darioush owns his own esteemed, eponymous winery near-by, built Ashes & Diamonds through collaboration, seeking the participation of Napa’s great contemporary voices in viticulture and enology. Kashy was compelled to investigate the nuances of the vineyard’s original plantings, Cabernet Franc and Merlot from 1986, and has meticulously done so through organic farming and restrained winemaking.
